Theme: The Talking Animal
I walked through the forest. My eyes were glossy from not sleeping in a long time. You may think i have been here for days but i have been here for… years? This forest was a labyrinth, just when you think you have reached the end, your face gets slammed by a branch. The forest in day-light looked like it couldn’t harm you. It seemed inoffensive with cute, silly, endearing animals. Yet, when the sun goes down and the moon goes up, it became a different, suddenly everything you found cute became odd… like if it feared something. Every time I passed by they hid. I usually never go out at day-light since I’m so exhausted from being awake all night. I put on some black trousers, some black-leathered belt with a hollow metal plate, some boots which i made from snake’s skin, a ruffed white shirt, and a shot-gun in case I got attacked. I walked out of my house which was huge. It was made from contaminating resources, but who cared if it was made from that, we were all going to die anyway. I saw how the animals hid again, but, this time i was going to find out what they feared. I started walking forward, some white feathers started falling from the air. I ignored them. I kept walking until I saw something. I ran towards it. It was… a mirror? I then realized that what they feared was me. Then the feathers became black. They had always been black, I only saw them as white. Oh…
